I am delighted to share exciting news about the future of our football program. Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Mr. Todd Quinsey, who will be stepping in as the new Head Football Coach at Ayala High School.
Coach Quinsey brings an impressive background of experience, leadership, and dedication to developing student athletes. A proud graduate of the University of La Verne (1996) and Northview High School (1991), he has spent over a decade as a head football coach at esteemed schools such as Northview, Glendora, Bassett, and Whittier. Furthermore, he has contributed as an assistant coach at Charter Oak, Los Altos, Marshall, and various programs in Oregon and Washington.
In addition to football, Coach Quinsey has shown his commitment to athletics across multiple sports. He has served as a girls basketball head coach for nine years at Northview and Los Altos and has coached baseball, boys basketball, track, and girls tennis. His dedication to fostering well-rounded student athletes is evident through his broad involvement in sports.
Academically, Coach Quinsey is in his 24th year as an educator. His teaching portfolio includes English, ELL, Yearbook, Physical Education, and Health, alongside his experience as a Dean of Students. His passion for education and student growth strongly aligns with the core values of Ayala High School.
On a personal note, Coach Quinsey is the proud father of two grown sons living in Oregon. His eldest son is a firefighter in Portland, following his service in the United States Navy, while his younger son is preparing to begin firefighter training this summer.
We are thrilled to welcome Coach Quinsey to the Ayala community. His extensive experience, strong character, and commitment to excellence make him an invaluable addition to our school and football program.
Please join me in giving Coach Quinsey a warm welcome to the Bulldog family!
